I have been a construction industry professional for over 35 years, which is widely known for building America’s infrastructure through a collaborative effort by talented people. Since 1989, I have had regular oversight responsibilities managing / leading employees, as well as, building efficient teams. This Includes recruiting, hiring, performance evaluations, skill development, retention, and dismissal.
At age 33, promoted to District Manager of a “ground up” remote profit and loss business unit in Omaha, Nebraska. Empowered to build an office and field employee workforce and customer base. Sales reached approximately 4.5 million over the course of just under five years.
I have been involved with remote office location business oversight since 1995. This included development / implementation of strategic business plans focused on People, Strategy, and Operations. Annual sales revenue of these individual businesses varied between $5 million and $20 million.
At age 38 in 2000, responsibilities were increased to oversee a new start-up District office in Madison, Wisconsin which expanded within two years to Regional Manager of three remote regional profit and loss centers. (Davenport, Iowa, Rockford, Illinois, and Des Moines, Iowa)
In 2005, became a principle / shareholder of a Wisconsin based $250 million annual sales a year company. As an Executive Vice President, I had profit and loss divisional responsibilities.
In 2008 was selected to represent our company on a “blended” Management Committee to implement a Joint Venture operation in Chicago.
